Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the RosyCycle Android application and explains how information is handled when you use the app, including optional Google account features.
Core app usage
RosyCycle is primarily a local wellness tracker. Cycle days, symptoms, mood, notes, reminders, and similar entries are stored mainly on your device. Core tracking features do not require an account.
Optional Google account connection
If you choose to connect a Google account, RosyCycle uses Google account data only for the following purposes:
- showing your profile name;
- showing your email address;
- showing your profile photo;
- saving and restoring a backup in your private Google Drive app data storage (
appDataFolder).
RosyCycle does not use Google account data for advertising profiling, selling data, or unrelated analytics.
Backup and restore
If you use Google backup and restore, backup files are stored in the app's private Google Drive app data storage associated with your Google account. This location is hidden from normal Google Drive browsing and is intended for app-specific data only.
RosyCycle uses this private storage only to save and restore your backup when you choose to use that feature.
What we do not do
- We do not automatically upload your health entries to our own servers.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your personal data with unrelated third parties.
Limited data may be processed by Google only when required to provide Google Sign-In, private Google Drive backup and restore, or Google AdMob advertising services used by the app.
Advertising
The app may display ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may process identifiers such as Advertising ID and technical information for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Where required, the app asks for consent.
Medical disclaimer
RosyCycle is a wellness tracker and is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Data retention and deletion
Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or clear app storage. If you use Google Drive backup, backup files remain in your private Google Drive app data storage until you remove them, clear the app's data there, or revoke the app's Google access.
